Overview Charles Harold Berry (1889-1965) was a professor of mechanical engineering at Northeastern University from 1955-1964. He taught at Cornell University from 1913-1918 and at Harvard University from 1928-1955. His work focused on thermodynamics and the steam power industry. He was also a technical engineer of power plants for the Detroit Edison Company and associate editor of Power magazine.
