The collection documents the administration, financial operations, and programs of La Alianza Hispana. This includes fundraising records, annual reports, billing information, and contracts. The records also document the agency's role within the Latino community of Boston and its significance within a larger human services and Boston-area context. This includes event information and photographs from La Alianza Hispana services such as the Senior Center. This collection is unprocessed. Founded in 1968 as the Spanish Alliance and incorporated in 1970, La Alianza Hispana was the first Latino organization of the Roxbury/North Dorchester area of Boston. It is a multi-service agency providing services in the areas of education, public health, youth development, elder services, employment and training, and counseling. Accessioned 2016 Mar 17. 92/12
