Jon Seward is Principle at Community Design Partnership (CDP) in Boston. Seward is an experienced leader of community planning processes, both as a consultant and as a community advocate, with expertise in urban and architectural design, open space and historic preservation, transportation planning, traffic calming and streetscape design for pedestrians. CDP is a planning and design firm, offering clients the direct participation of principals in all phases of work in community-based, collaborative planning and design. CDP specializes in projects requiring consensus and close attention to local needs and aspirations. CDP has worked extensively with citizen committees, facilitating public meetings, and organizing interactive public planning processes to achieve far reaching and specific goals. The collection documents the work of Jon Seward's Community Design Partnership from circa 1990-2012. Included are project files, plans, correspondence, and reports from CDP projects, as well as material related to various neighborhood organizations.
