The collection consists of Bradstreet's research notes and publications, as well as photocopies of journal articles on various chemistry topics, and Bradstreet's honorary Doctor of Science diploma from Northeastern University. The collection is unprocessed. Raymond B. Bradstreet, a chemist and author, was the founder of Bradstreet Laboratories and a supervisor at the Chemical Laboratory of the United States Testing Company in Hoboken, New Jersey. Bradstreet received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Northeastern University in 1988, and the Bradstreet Chair in Bioanalytical Chemistry at the Barnett Institute of Chemical and Biological Analysis at Northeastern was established in Bradstreet's memory in 1993.
