The collection documents Tom Iacobucci's involvement in local (Massachusetts) and national Democratic and Republican political campaigns, including material from Michael Dukakis' 1988 presidential campaign. Included in the collection are files on candidates, voting regulations, voting district maps, population statistics, correspondence, newspaper clippings, poll analyses, press releases, campaign manuals, microcassette tapes, political commercial videotapes, and campaign publicity material including signs, posters, mailers, t-shirts, key chains, and bumper stickers. Boxes 8 and 9 contain one or more volumes from the following publications: Massachusetts Municipal Directories, The Massachusetts Political Almanac, Municipal Bulletin, Massachusetts Election Laws and Regulations, Proceedings of the Electoral College of Massachusetts, Standard & Poor's Municipal Finance Criteria, Massachusetts Election Statistics, Almanac of American Politics, Municipal Financial Data, Congressional directory for the 104th Congress, Congressional pictorial directory, 101st Congress, and Campaign '96: a workbook for the 1996 political year. The collection is unprocessed. Thomas K. Iacobucci was involved in involved in local politics in Massachusetts throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Iacobucci served as a Selectman, Councilor, and Town Meeting Representative in Amesbury, MA from 1984-2001. He also served on the Massachusetts Commission on Local Government from 1998-2001.
