Photographs The records of the secretary and treasurer of the Northeastern University Student Branch of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, 1943-1963, contained in two volumes. Some photographs of events and newspaper clippings have been pasted into volume 1. The Northeastern University student branch of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (NU-ASME) is an organization that seeks to promote and explore opportunities in engineering. NU-ASME offers students, faculty, alumni, and community members the ability to interact, network with engineering professionals, and provide civil service to the greater Boston area. NU-ASME combines scholastic principles with fundamental real-world applications to enhance engineering knowledge and awareness. Accessioned 2005 Feb 23. These volumes were given to Professor John Cippolla by Professpr Art Foster, chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department, in the 1980s. 46/3
