114th Commencement Honorary Degree photobooks

The collection contains copies of the souvenir photobooks given to the 114th Commencement speakers and honorary degree recipients. This includes books given to Charles Elachi, Tom McCarthy, Susan Hockfield, Charles Frank Bolden Jr., John F. Kerry, and Tracey L. McCain. The 114th Commencement Celebration of Northeastern University took place on May 6, 2016 in the TD Garden Stadium. Secretary of State John F. Kerry provided the undergraduate commencement address while the graduate commencement address was given by Jet Propulsion Laboratory director Charles Elachi. Honorary Doctor of Science degrees were given to Maj. Gen. Charles F. Bolden Jr., head of NASA, and Susan Hockfield, president emerita of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Tom McCarthy, an Oscar-winning Director and Screenwriter was given an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.The Northeastern University School of Law Commencement address was given by Tracey L.
