Joseph E. Aoun, the seventh president of Northeastern University, has served from 2006-present. Born in Lebanon, Aoun received his Masters in Oriental Languages and Literature from the Université Saint-Joseph, Beirut, Lebanon, in 1975, and his Ph.D. in Linguistics from MIT in 1981. Aoun joined the faculty of the University of Southern California's Department of Linguistics in 1982, and held the position of Dean of USC's College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences for six years before coming to Northeastern. The collection consists of five commemorative photo books for Northeastern's 2013 honorary degree recipients. The recipients include Donald G. Comb, LL Cool J, Wade Davis II, Victor J. Dzav, and Janet Nepolitano. The collection is unprocessed. Accessioned 2015 Mar 19. 46/1
