The Alternatives for Community and Environment was founded in 1993 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Their mission is to build the power of communities of color and lower income communities in New England to eradicate environmental racism and classism and achieve environmental justice. The records consists of administrative, communication, grant, legal, program, and research files.
