Summary:
This series includes audio and video recordings of the "Meet the Author" events organized by the Library's Advancement and Marketing Department in which authors of recent, noteworthy books of all genres give readings and discuss their works, including events featuring Geraldine Brooks, Charles Enderlin, Vincent Lam, John Grogan, and NU Professors Winifred Breines, Gary Goshgarian, William Miles, and Leonard Brown, and many others.
Many of the author talks are available on the Northeastern University YouTube channel and on iTunes U. Most events have been filmed and are available as a MiniDVs, and for some events there are also other materials, such as advertising materials (posters, television commercials), audio recordings, or slides from the author's presentation; there are a few exceptions for which there are only posters. Additional copies of the videos are available on the Advancement and Marketing Department's Programming and Communications Committee File Backup DVDs (see Series 4).
