Summary:
This series documents international visitors to NU. Initially, visits were arranged through the Office of University Relations, and later the CIHED under Joy Viola and Solveig Turner. When the OIA was established in 1982, visits were coordinated jointly under the two bodies. After the CIHED closed in 1986, the OIA assumed sole responsibility for coordination of visitors. Visitors included international scholars, diplomats, and other government officials. Records in the series include correspondence, visitor biographical information, programs, and occasional statistics on foreign visitors by country.
