Summary:
This series documents Office of Community Affair's involvement in community outreach programs in the Boston area. Of note are pamphlets and correspondence pertaining to the administration of Camp Nor'Easter, Northeastern University Academy, and the Boston Housing Authority scholarship program. The Southwest Corridor Project, the Office of Community Affair's and Northeastern University's involvement with it, and the Project's effect upon local communities is particularly well documented through correspondence, meeting minutes, development proposals and planning reports. This series also includes correspondence, fliers, minutes, and other materials related to Boston community organizations and particular neighborhoods within the city. The Camp Nor'Easter and Boston Housing Authority files are restricted for 75 years from the date of their creation unless researchers have written permission from the creating office.
