Meeting Agendas, Minutes, and Memoranda (25 folders), 1980s-2000s

This series documents the meetings and legislation of the Student Senate. The bulk of the series is legislation debated, amended, and passed or refused by the Senate. The series also contains records of elections, nomination forms for potential senators, and letters of appointment for “special interest” senators nominated by other student groups on campus to represent them in the Student Senate. Also included are records from the yearly “Passing of the Gavel” ceremony that concludes each year of student government. Records include agendas, minutes, memoranda, legislation, “Sense of the Senate” resolutions, and senator biographies.
