Summary:
This series documents the administrative activities of CIHED. Included are correspondence, monthly reports, meeting minutes, Advisory Board files, listings of the collections, information concerning yearly conferences on international topics hosted by CIHED, copies of the Center's publications, including a monthly newsletter, and the files of its credential evaluation service. Two main groups of correspondence are Chronological and Countries. The Chronological files include student records and are restricted for seventy-five years from the date of creation. The correspondence with countries is arranged alphabetically by country. Topics include newsletters, conferences, international activities of Northeastern staff and faculty, the evaluation of education credentials, and study abroad programs.

Language of Materials
The majority of the records are in English. There is correspondence with foreign universities in French, Spanish, German, and Swiss. The Project series contains research articles and surveys in French, Spanish, German, and Swiss, and Russian.
Conditions Governing Access:
Student Records (Box 3: Folders 1-24) are closed for 75 years from their date of creation.
