Summary:
This series reflects the change and development in the physical plant of the University, including the extension campuses at Dedham and Burlington. The records primarily document the expansion and growth of the Huntington Avenue campus, including architectural drawings and sketches for proposed buildings and detailed photographic documentation of the campus itself. Also included are general aerial views of Boston and shots of Boston and local landmarks. Photographs of dedications or groundbreakings for specific buildings are filed in Series 7: Events. Some photographs from this series have been digitized and are available online: Northeastern's Historical Photographs.
