This series documents the events and special functions of the University, including, homecoming, conferences, speakers, performances, convocations, dedications, and groundbreakings. The commencement files include photographs of the ceremony, speakers, honorary degree recipients, and attending students. Also included are some other award ceremonies and anniversaries; researchers should also consult Series 1: Academic Programs for anniversaries or other important events for specific academic units; and photographs from the cooperative education awards ceremonies are found in Series 5: Division of Cooperative Education along with photographs of the 75th anniversary of co-op at Northeastern.
