The Administrative Files include material documenting student records, MSC's attempts at expansion, annual reviews, relationships with the Nahant and surrounding communities and correspondence with Northeastern administrators in Boston. Grants in this Series pertain to renovation projects. Student files in box 2 mostly document Professor Riser's correspondence with graduate students regarding their admissions and schoolwork, and the faculty files in box 1 document hiring correspondence and grades for courses taught and are restricted. Course files contain syllabi and blank tests. The Committees and Departments folders pertain to Joseph Ayers and Charles Ellis's files regarding their respective leadership roles with the Academic Computer Policy Committee and Health Professions Advisory Council, as well as Ayers role in representing faculty interests for the Biology Department for Divisional Changes within the College of Arts and Sciences. There is also material documenting Professor Riser's personal and professional correspondence with marine biologists and museums all over the world, including Bertil Akesson, Harold Barnes, Gerard Bellan, Wesley R. Coe, Christer Erseus, Kristian Fauchald, R.M. Rieger, and Wilfried Westheide.
