Scope and Content Note

From the Collection:

The F. Andre Favat collection spans the years 1960-1982, with the bulk of the material detailing FAF's career at Northeastern University, 1969-1976.  It is arranged alphabetically and organized at the folder level.

The collection comprises FAF's files and published works.  It consists of reports and committee records from the Department of Instruction, student teaching records, and FAF's lecture notes and published writings.  The student teaching files include student placement records and student evaluations of cooperating teachers, the course, and the student teaching experience.

In addition, the collection contains newspaper clippings regarding FAF's murder and the allegations of homosexuality that arose during the investigation and trial.
