The series documents the events and programs organized to promote the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists to funders and the general public.  The educational programs in particular underscore the museum's mission to promote and teach the history of Afro-American fine arts to children and adults. The series contains correspondence, memoranda, and brochures on the educational programs and curricula, the docent program, Mobile Museum, summer programs, conferences, projects, receptions, and the long-standing partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts.  Also included are school visit agreements with schools and colleges from New England and New York, and background historical summaries on the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists' programs.
