Summary:

The series documents the professional career of Bernard "Bunny" Solomon, commencing with his relationship to several Massachusetts banks in the 1950s, and continuing through his positions at Stop & Shop, Patriot Bank, and Bank of New England. The material comprises news clippings and photographs of important events and persons, as well as a number of reports and business documents. Of particular interest are photographs of Solomon's meetings with Cesar Chavez of the United Farm Workers union. The series also documents the steady rise of Solomon as a widely known and respected public figure in Boston and Massachusetts at large.
