4. Northeastern University, 1958-2000

The series documents the activities of Bernard "Bunny" Solomon at Northeastern University, beginning in the 1950s. In particular, it documents his extensive involvement in sporting activities at the school, and in the creation of the Solomon indoor and outdoor track and field facilities and the Solomon basketball court. The majority of the material comprises press clippings and photographs, with a small amount of correspondence and regalia. Of particular interest are a scrapbook, oversized photograph, and video recording documenting the dedication of the Bernard and Jolane Solomon Outdoor Track and Field Facility in Dedham, Mass.
