Summary:
The OutWrite series documents the Bromfield Street Educational Foundation's involvement in the OutWrite Conferences, as well as the content of OutWrite's sessions and events. Subseries A contains the written records of the OutWrite Conferences. It includes planning documents, correspondence, and other logistical information. OUT/LOOK magazine sponsored the 1990 and 1991 OutWrite Conferences. The Bromfield Street Educational Foundation co-sponsored the conference in 1992 and assumed full control in 1993. OutWrite was not held in 1994 or 1997. Records from 1997 are for the failed conference and OutWrite Lite.
Subseries B contains audio cassette tapes of the conference sessions. The tapes are from the 1992, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998, and 1999 conferences. There is a complete set of tapes for the 1995 conference; scattered tapes are missing for the other conferences.
