Casework (4 folders) (RESTRICTED), 1917-1921, 1938-1944, 1960-1981

This series documents the administrative activities of TAFS. It includes annual meeting minutes, annual reports, articles of incorporation, by-laws, brochures and advertisements, casework files (which are restricted for 75 years from date of creation), correspondence, reports, event information, financial records, memoranda, records of the Board of Directors, public service announcements, statistics, and reports. This series also includes TAFS newsletters, "The Transient," "Travel Log," and "Travelers Aid News."

Of particular note are the materials documenting some of TAFS's programs, including the Puerto Rican Entering and Settling Service (PRESS), the Transportation Assistance Program, the Vietnamese Resettlement Program, and the Emergency Assistance Shelter Exchange (EASE).
