This series contains audio, video, and photographs related all aspects of Blumsack's professional life. Included are 93 audio cassette recordings of his “Where It's Art” radio program on WADN from 1993-1997. The show was dedicated to promoting the visual and performing arts, and guests included artists, gallery owners, actors, and musicians. This series also contains VHS tapes of Blumsack's appearances on various Boston area television programs--including an interview on his experiences living and working in Roxbury--and photographs of Blumsack's stage productions and costume designs. Also included are several VHS tapes related to the Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts, including a program entitled “We Hold These Truths,” which documents its Technical Theater Training Program's work with black inmates at MCI Norfolk Prison in the early 1970's. In addition, a DVD entitled “Larry Blumsack History DVD” includes a range of photographs and documents highlighting Blumsack's life work, including copies of his theater criticism and arts columns dating from 1987-1990. Audio recordings are predominantly on cassette, along with several reel-to-reel recordings, while videos are on VHS, along with one U-Matic and one Betacam.
