Scope and Contents
This series documents the administrative activities of the organization. This includes committee meeting minutes and reports, Board of Directors meeting minutes and election files, annual meetings, financial statements and budgets, strategic plans, and materials related to the development of the organization. The series contains records from organizational retreats, along with executive directors’ files, internships, membership materials, and press coverage of the organization and its work in the community. Also included are planning documents for the Asian American Directory. General organizational fundraising is documented in this series through grant applications and direct appeals, while fundraising events and grants related to specific programs are located in Series 2: Programs and Events.

SafetyNet case files are restricted for 75 years, unless researchers have written permission from the Asian American Resource Workshop. The remainder of the collection is unrestricted.
