        The Women's Institute for Leadership Development (WILD) was founded in 1986 to increase the number and diversity of women in the Massachusetts labor movement and increase women's effectiveness as organizers in their unions and community organizations. Through a variety of educational programs, WILD sought to prepare women leaders on all fronts.
