Arnold E. Daum graduated from Northeastern University in 1940 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and taught in Northeastern's University College from 1954 to the late 1980s. During World War II, Daum served as lieutenant commander in the United States Navy and was awarded the Bronze Star.
