Overview

Norman G. Miclette was born on July 31, 1927 in Watertown, Connecticut. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, having served the United States Army in Korea. He attended both the Harvard Business School and the Evening School of Business at Northeastern University in the 1950's. His studies at Harvard 1952—-1955 focused on business and personnel management, and 1956—-1958 he studied the traffic management industry at Northeastern. While studying at Northeastern, Miclette worked for Cargo—Imperial Freight Lines, Inc. as a claim adjuster. Miclette worked in the Traffic Management industry, supervising the transportation of goods for companies. Miclette married Amelia Walsh Miclette. Following her death in 1983, he re—married. After living in Salem, New Hampshire, Miclette moved to Panama City Beach, Florida in 1995 spending his time participating in activities sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion organizations, American Association of Retired Persons of Panama City Beach, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat. Miclette died on November 19, 2001 in Panama City Beach, Florida.
